The patterning imposed on the natural design of the hide suggests a mapping of the cosmos, a setting spread out for potential events. The symmetrical patterning of the Rorschach, a historical indicator tool of psychological and emotional functioning, is mirrored and transformed into the design of the performer’s beaded mask.
